Pasta & Bacon in crème sauce

METHOD

1. Blanch your pasta at dente (firm to the bite), then set aside

2. Pan fry the back bacon (roughly chopped) until slightly crispy to release the flavor, then take out

3. In the same pan, fry onions until translucent, add pasta and bacon, then toss to mix

4. Add double cream ( toss to bind), and season to taste.

5. Mix with chopped parsley (taste and adjust seasoning).

Ready to serve as a snack or a whole meal

Cooking time: 15 - 20 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

Penne Pasta [250grms]
Back Bacon [150grms]
Double cream [5 tbsp]
Cooking oil [1 tbsp]
Chopped fresh parsley
Chopped onions [2 tbsp]
Seasoning - Salt (to taste), Pepper
Green leaves to garnish (Optional)
