Cheesy Chapati Lasagna

METHOD

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Crumble in the sausages and cook until browned.
Add the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Spread a thin layer of the sausage mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Lay 2 chapatis on top of the sauce, slightly overlapping.
Spread a layer of ricotta cheese on top of the chapatis.
Sprinkle with a third of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Repeat the layers twice more, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
Bake the lasagna for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

1 Chapati
1 lb Ranchers Finest Pork Sausages
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) of crushed tomatoes
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
1 cup of ricotta cheese
